Payroll Optimization Strategist (2-Year Project, Hybrid Work)

For one of our trusted clients- a multinational information technology company with a global presence, Manpower is looking for a Payroll Optimization Strategist (Payroll process manager)
Project scope: Payroll Time Tracking system implementation 

YOUR ROLE: 
To evaluate and improve business processes, ensure the efficiency of business operations, and create and implement changes to the project strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
• Meet with business teams (HR, Payroll) to discuss requirements and objectives
• Troubleshoot and improve processes, identify areas of improvement
• Implement processes to integrate WD modules into operations
• Update process and procedure documentation
• Provide guidance to business teams
• Support operational teams in understanding and mastering process control
• Build positive relationships with local stakeholders
• Escalate issues and provide recommendations
• Work closely with operational staff to ensure timely delivery of outcomes (blueprint, UAT, etc.)

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS: 
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to coordinate projects and lead multiple teams
• Excellent English language skills 
• Time tracking experience or knowledge is a plus
• Payroll process experience
• Report and procedure writing skills
• Highly organized with good time management and multitasking abilities
• Experience with collaboration and critical thinking exercises
* The opportunity to travel (up to 10 days for 2 years)

Accounts Payable Supervisor

We are looking for Accounts Payable Supervisor!

The AP Supervisor will be a key member of the team and will be responsible for payment run schedules and supplier/employee payments, analysis of returned payments, credit cards reconciliation and month-end closing activities. The role will be involved into the new system design & implementation, acting as SME, performing UAT activities according to the project plan.

Main Responsibilities:
• Maintain a strong control framework by following agreed controls and processes;
• Creation of payment runs issue of manual payments and coordination with requestors and approvers;
• Liaise with Treasury team and banks to maintain sufficient funds and resolve payment issues;
• Monitor the pending invoices and follow up to obtain all necessary approvals from the business so that the invoices are paid on a timely manner;
• Oversee the processing of supplier invoices, expense reports, query resolution relating to invoices, purchase orders and payments;
• Analyse and support the closing activities: Reconciling purchase order to invoices, Analyse the Aged AP Creditors, Perform Monthly AP Reconciliations, Credit cards reconciliation;
• Coordinate with master data team and monitor the correct setup of vendors;
• Resolve queries from external suppliers and internal business;
• Support more junior team members and guide them to follow the correct process;
• Ensure strong relationships are maintained with other the company finance & non-finance teams in the global structure;
• Work in accordance to defined timelines, always delivering excellent customer service;
• Actively participate in all team meetings and any meetings between the company teams;
• Maintain a strong control framework by following agreed controls and processes;
• Promote no PO no pay policy for supplier payments.

Experience:
• Experience working for a B2B international business dealing with multi-currency invoices;
• Experience within a P2P team and dealing with supplier payments;
• Experience with system implementation and testing activities;
• Experience using Microsoft applications – Word, Excel and Outlook;
• NetSuite ERP experience preferable;
• Understanding of continuous improvement and best practice;
• Proven Finance/Accounting background or experience;
• Awareness & respect of tax legislation.

Technical Support Engineer – Level 2

Your Role:

 

• Provide technical support service for B2B and internal customers via all communication channels: phone, e-mail, IM, ticketing system

• Investigate technical problems and their root cause

• Monitor infrastructure and services

• Provide respond to any alert or requests according to the SLA

• Communicate with R&D team and 3rd parties

• Provide regular reports

 

Qualifications & Competences:

 

• Experience in basic Linux command line interface and utilities

• Understanding of TCP/IP network stack and main protocols

• Good knowledge of SQL

• Basic scripting skills (bash, awk, sed)

• Familiar with Cloud services (AWS preferably)

• Experience in work with web applications, monitoring systems, LAMP stack, DNS, mail servers, CDN

• Understanding of SDLC, CI/CD

• Intermediate English (speaking/writing)

• Ability to prioritize and switch between tasks

• Be able to work in shifts

• Self-learning, responsible, communicative, accurate

 

Considered as a plus:

 

• Linux administration

• AWS administration

• Monitoring systems configuration (Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios)

• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL)

• Experience with Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Bamboo)
