SOLAR PV DESIGN ENGINEER

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced professional
SOLAR PV DESIGN ENGINEER
to join our client’s growing team to support the project development, design, and project implementation of various solar PV and battery energy storage systems.
Key responsibilities for this role will include:
- Design complete large-scale PV systems,
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications of PV systems to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
- Conduct detailed site evaluations for targeted projects, including but not limited to, due diligence review, proposal development and pre-engineering support to Sales, Finance and Construction.
- Coordinate with structural, electrical, and civil rofessional Engineers during design process to assure the design meets technical requirements.
- Identify appropriate equipment for use in PV systems and perform technical qualification of vendors.
- Operate computer-assisted engineering or design software or equipment to perform engineering tasks.
- Provide on-going technical support to project construction team during construction of PV systems.
Required and desired skillsets, experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field
- 3+ years of experience with the development and design of large-scale solar plants, technical experience in the design, development or construction of large-scale renewables energy projects including solar, wind, biomass and/or battery energy storage systems.
- Experience in managing/coordinating pre-construction phase -programming/planning and design and construction management
- Very good level of English
- Designing PV system using PVSol, PVSyst, PVCase or other PV design software, AutoCAD.
- Strong organizational skills; must be detail oriented
- Superb time management skills and detail orientation
- Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work with all levels of professionals.
- Must be adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
- Availability to travel abroad
