We are looking for a Software Development Engineer for one of our company partners – a German company leading a full-service provider of high-quality industrial measurement, control, weighing, and laboratory technology. 

YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Program PC software for measuring instruments. 

• Adapt existing software to run on new operating systems. 

• Extend existing software with new features and functionality. 

• Develop customized solutions to meet the specific needs of our clients. 

• Prepare technical documentation, including user manuals and technical specifications. 

• Provide technical support to the sales team, including assisting with product demonstrations and responding to technical inquiries. 

• Conduct testing of software to ensure compatibility with different measuring devices and other equipment. 

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or comparable practical training. 

• Knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, .Net, and SQL databases. 

• Experience in GUI programming. 

• Ideally interested in the field of measurement, control, weighing, and laboratory technology. 

• Good command of written and spoken English, knowledge of German is an advantage. 

• Confident handling of MS Office products. 

• Flexibility, initiative, reliability, and a high level of service and customer orientation.
