Currently, we are looking for a motivated candidate to join the team of our partner, an international company for the position of:
 
                                      Quality Assurance Engineer

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs all necessary tests and inspections of the materials and supplies for production as well as of manufactured products in order to ensure the production quality
• Supplier complaint management incl. cost negotiations
• Monitoring supplier performance to ensure that they are meeting quality standards and deadlines
• Support the qualification/ validation of new material / suppliers.
• Coordinating and determining the scope of sampling with suppliers, as well as reviewing the documentation provided and storage first sample
• Interaction with other departments within the company regarding issues with suppliers
• Responsible for communication with Suppliers. Initiation and establishment of the quality circles  and corresponding reviews.
• Develop suppliers in case of supplier quality problems according to the internal escalation model (supplier development program)
• Planning and execution of supplier audits according to VDA 6.3 at national and international level
• Participates in quality planning activities for new and ongoing projects
• Uses quality management tools, Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (P-FMEA), Control plan, Process and product release, Process capability analysis, MSA etc.
• Solves problems by using problem-solving methods – Eight disciplines (8D), Quick Response Quality Control (QRQC), Ishikawa diagram, 5 Why?
• Responsible for compliance with the requirements of the Integrated Management System (IMS)
• Responsibility for Continuous Improvement actions at the area of responsibility

Qualifications & Skills

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in electronic or technical engineering
• Proven experience in supplier quality management (preferably in the automotive industry)
• Well-versed experience in quality assurance and quality control methods and standards applied in the automotive industry
• Automotive Core Tools knowledge and IATF 16949; experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 desirable
• Knowledge and interpretation of technical drawings and internal and external standards
• Very good skills in working with MS Office software products
• Basic skills in working with SAP software products
• Very good knowledge of English both written and spoken
• Problem-solving skills
• Very good communication skills
