Main Responsibilities:

  • Producing, creating, and inputting all General Ledger journals, including non-AP/AR bank payments, while ensuring accuracy, correct authorization, and maintenance of relevant supporting evidence.
  • Preparing accurate US GAAP Management Accounts in adherence to the Month, Quarter, and Year-End Global Close Schedule.
  • Supporting the preparation of accurate Statutory Accounts in adherence to statutory deadlines.
  • Liaising closely with the Business Unit to ensure a good understanding of business developments.
  • Performing accruals, reconciliations, and analysis of company accounts on a monthly base.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 2 – 3 years of experience in accounting.
  • Excellent conversational and written knowledge in French and English.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, self-motivated and organized.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements for the role:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and accurate analysis on actual monthly plant performance, internal financial reports (IFR), and company scorecards.
  • Provide quantification of financial impact to support plant discussions and decision making.

  • Supports in a monthly accounting report. This includes tracking inventory costs, labor costs, overhead, and equipment depreciation.
  • In addition, reconciliation of different balance sheet accounts using a general ledger format is expected on a monthly basе.
  • Involved in standard costs calculations.
  • Analyze plant labor, scrap, operational spending, and inventory transactions for optimal manufacturing levels.
  • Advice the production manager and all aspects of financial postings in the manufacturing.
  • Assists and/or participates in periodic and annual inventories.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent skills in financial analysis,
  • Understanding of accounting procedures
  • Proficient in data entry and management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Analytic and communication skills.
  • More than 5 years’ experience in similar role in manufacturing plant
  • Good level of English
  • Teamwork and professional integrity

Our partner is international agricultural distribution company.

We are currently seeking qualified and experienced professional for the role:

Chief Accountant.

What you will do:

  • Record the daily transactions of sales, purchases, and expenses into ERP system;
  • Take control on accounting transactions and ensure that all incoming/outgoing invoices are correct and registered properly;
  • Responsible for preparing and submitting weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual internal reports;
  • Responsible for the preparation of financial statements and all declarations to Tax Authorities;
  • Controlling of inventory transactions;
  • Preparing the budget and forecasting;
  • Coordinate contacts with key customers, government institutions and Suppliers;
  • Execute HR administration and payroll;
  • Coordinate the financial month end closure and maintain clean and accurate general ledger;
  • Ensure the Company compliance with internal controls around certain accounting activities;

If you have:

  • University degree in Accounting or Finance;
  • Minimum 7 years of accounting and finance experience;
