Quantitative Research Specialist


We are looking for a Quantitative Research Specialist for one of our clients – an American systematic hedge fund, leveraging curation-edge technologies and machine learning on data to deliver exceptional returns to their investors.

Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct in-depth research, design, and deploy advanced predictive machine learning models, actively engaging in hands-on development. 

  • Formulate and implement systematic trading strategies based on model predictions, contributing to effective decision-making. 

  • Stay abreast of financial literature and academic papers to identify market inefficiencies and draw inspiration for enhancing trading strategies. 

  • Develop hypotheses related to market patterns and dependencies, conducting rigorous testing to validate findings. 

  • Acquire expertise in financial markets and instruments, exploring innovative ways to predict future performance. 
     

Technical Requirements: 

  • Possess at least a graduate degree in a technical field, demonstrating an eagerness to learn about financial markets and predictive analytics. 

  • Accumulate 5+ years of experience analyzing substantial datasets using Python or R. 

  • Exhibit proficiency in training and implementing models with Scikit-learn, PyTorch, and/or TensorFlow. 

  • Showcase understanding in linear algebra, time series analysis, data mining, numerical methods, and statistical tools, including PCA and regression. 

  • Demonstrate a track record of dedication and perseverance in solving complex problems. 

  • Exhibit excellent spoken and written English skills. 
     

Soft Skills Requirements: 

  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both written and oral. 

  • Possess self-awareness, intellectual curiosity, and a collaborative team-player mentality. 

  • Exhibit a self-starting, enthusiastic, and positive thinking approach. 

Nice to Have: 

  • Degrees in technical or quantitative disciplines such as statistics, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, or computer science. 

  • Exposure to packages like pandas, NumPy, statsmodels, scikit-learn, scipy, matplotlib, and TensorFlow. C++ experience is advantageous. 

  • Familiarity with the Agile approach and methodology. 

  • Experience or interest in machine learning techniques, time series analysis, and econometrics. 

  • Proficiency in Deep Learning: DNN, CNN, RNN/LSTM, GAN, or other autoencoders. 

  • Familiarity with KX/KDB+ or q experience. 

  • Basic understanding of equity markets.

Technical Support Engineer – Level 2


Your Role:

 

• Provide technical support service for B2B and internal customers via all communication channels: phone, e-mail, IM, ticketing system

• Investigate technical problems and their root cause

• Monitor infrastructure and services

• Provide respond to any alert or requests according to the SLA

• Communicate with R&D team and 3rd parties

• Provide regular reports

 

Qualifications & Competences:

 

• Experience in basic Linux command line interface and utilities

• Understanding of TCP/IP network stack and main protocols

• Good knowledge of SQL

• Basic scripting skills (bash, awk, sed)

• Familiar with Cloud services (AWS preferably)

• Experience in work with web applications, monitoring systems, LAMP stack, DNS, mail servers, CDN

• Understanding of SDLC, CI/CD

• Intermediate English (speaking/writing)

• Ability to prioritize and switch between tasks

• Be able to work in shifts

• Self-learning, responsible, communicative, accurate

 

Considered as a plus:

 

• Linux administration

• AWS administration

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Proficiency in creating circuits and layouts with CAD systems (e.g. Pulsonix);

Junior Software Developer

We are looking for a Junior Software Developer for one of our partners – a multinational company that develops semiconductors, adapters, systems, and software that is used by the world’s leading companies in the storage and networking markets.

ROLE OVERVIEW:
As a new team member you will be dealing with all aspects from RTL to GDSII flow, using the most advanced tools and flow, targeting the most advanced technologies of today. Floor planning, Synthesis, Layout, Timing, Physical Verification and more.

Depending on the team you are in you will be creating and reviewing test strategies, test designs, test cases and test Automation suites, reviews of design and functional specifications, review user documentation, work closely with multi-site team of developers, interacting with customers for demos, test qualifications and feedback sessions

REQUIREMENTS:
• Graduates or last year students in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Communication Technologies, Mathematics, Informatics, Physics, etc. (BSc, MSc, Ph.D.);
• Logical and analytical thinking;
• Proficiency in English;

ADVANTAGES:
• Experience in a similar role;
• 1-2 years of hand-on test experience with L2 & L3 protocols like QoS, xSTP, VLAN, OSPF, BGP;
